Job Overview:

A Product Manager for Network & Security is responsible for overseeing the development and management of products that relate to network infrastructure, security solutions, and cybersecurity. They focus on ensuring that the product offerings address customer needs, maintain security standards, and scale with the ever-evolving landscape of threats in networking environments.

This position plays a critical role in developing secure and scalable networking products that protect organizations from cyber threats while providing innovative and reliable solutions.

What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks)

• Define the long-term vision and strategy for network and security products.
• Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and customer needs.
• Prioritize product features based on customer feedback, market trends, and company goals.

• Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to bring products from conception to market.
• Communicate product vision and features clearly to all stakeholders.
• Coordinate with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless user experience.

• Stay current with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings in the network and security space.
• Perform customer and market research to gather insights on customer pain points, needs, and use cases.
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the market.

• Ensure products meet security standards and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Work with security teams to implement best practices for data protection, encryption, and threat prevention.

• Lead the development of new products or enhancements to existing products.
• Ensure timely delivery of features and products, managing scope and balancing time-to-market needs.
• Oversee product testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting of product issues post-launch.

• Interact with customers to gather feedback, understand their pain points, and refine product features.
• Present product updates and roadmaps to executive teams, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Provide training and support for internal teams to ensure they understand product capabilities.

• Define and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure the success of the product.
• Use metrics to guide decisions on product updates, enhancements, and future features.

Requirements:

What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)!
In the role for Product Manager for Network & Security we are looking for a Bachelors/Master’s degree in Project Management, Computer Science. Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, etc.). Familiarity with security concepts (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, etc.). Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and networking solutions. Proven experience in product management, ideally in the network, security, or tech space. Ability to manage multiple product lines and projects simultaneously. 2 years of experience with network security products (firewalls, DDoS protection, VPNs, endpoint security). Understanding of emerging security threats (zero-day vulnerabilities, APTs, ransomware, etc.). Managing solutions that secure devices connecting to the corporate network, such as laptops, smartphones, and IoT devices.
